Transparency is bad! (Democracy hates transparency).
Right-wing liberals think that transparency is bad! It risks to panic people unnecessarily! It risks disturbing them! How can a system that claims to be fair, free and democratic be so afraid of transparency? How is it that the right-wing parties, great defenders of freedom, prefer anonymity, which they believe is less disruptive than transparency?
What are these famous freedoms that they hide? Wouldn’t it be, for example, great profits that they would evade taxes? Strangely enough, these taxes, according to them, would be the keys to our fair democracy! Because, still according to them, distributed in an equitable way, they would allow the whole population, rich, less rich and poor to benefit from them, and thus, to create a certain balance! For a gag it is a good gag, because this fair distribution is above all taken from the employees, workers, civil servants, who are controlled on one side by the employers and on the other by the state. In this case, transparency seems quite necessary! As for the big anonymous companies and their big anonymous shareholders, transparency is not very good!
These people, so honest, so democratic, can hide, negotiate quietly what they want to pay, otherwise they will threaten to go and steal under other skies… at these words the governments and administrations always react with courage… some naïve people will die of fright at the thought of losing these generous anonymous people, the others, knowing the scheme, will pretend to be sorry for the people they represent (!) and will accept for the good of the country… who said bribes, who said boards of directors? Shhh… be quiet, never say those words. In reality, the disruption and panic is mainly due to a lack of transparency, which fuels injustice and demobilises people. Transparency, on the contrary, will motivate more people, who will in turn encourage creativity in all areas.
Ask a liberal economist what he thinks of transparency, and he will invariably answer “it never existed”! This suggests, above all, that the liberal economist is above all a cucurbit that is excellent in salads, but less so in economics. What is the point of studying economics if it is only to reproduce the same “clone” over and over again? Where is the creativity? If transparency has never existed, is that a reason why it should never exist? Wouldn’t economic and political power prefer to keep its flock of sheep?
Sweeper and manager (the different regimes).
Communism developed as a means of fighting a regime that has as its “existential” foundation imbalance. Capitalism aims at the domination by a small group of the immense majority of the population. It is an abject regime, sometimes rich and democratic, sometimes poor and fascist. It all depends on the moment and the necessity. When the internal system is rich, such as in Western countries, it makes fascism reign outside (Third World), when it is impoverished, it releases internal fascism. But, as with the nuclear residues that it does not know how to eliminate, it does not know how to eliminate fascism either, which, when it is liberated, goes to the end of its self-destructive logic. A bright future ahead! Socialism can only be rich and can only be grafted onto rich capitalism, it is made of small corrective measures. It will ask the most powerful to throw it a few crumbs. It is a weak parasite on a strong master, a kind of polite beggar.
Communism or sovietism, based on egalitarian ideas, ended up as a “double” of capitalism, only dumber and just as nasty. A few party kingpins, dominating a population to whom they gave a lot of social benefits, but never the financial means which, in turn, were given by the party to the health of the social beneficiaries! In the midst of all these disasters, many men and women have not given up and continue to fight; not only to pick up the crumbs, but also to change our pseudo-democratic system. They are to be found in all parties, associations, in all countries, they do not act as party stooges, but open their eyes and look for local and global solutions.
Western communist parties are particularly active and fierce fighters against injustice, but to create a common force with other formations, they would have to define their links with collectivisation, party centralism and the personality cult. Will they call for transparency in big business, limits on the over-accumulation of wealth and inheritance, “individual freedom” for small and medium-sized enterprises?
Parties should be sources of creativity and projects, their power grab and dogma will only create imbalance and destruction. Communism has become sovietism, socialism a by-product of fascist capitalism, and ecologism an “insufficient” balancing complement to a system whose hand unbalances with stupid constancy. The only viable and progressive system is the limitation of the over-accumulation of wealth and inheritance and thus of power and vice versa.
This viable system will only be achieved by removing the current anonymity of big business and big shareholders. Transparency will mean that the system will be democratically and permanently controlled at all levels of the population. Within big business: by managers, employees, small and medium-sized enterprises, the local, regional and global population. Governments: by the people’s elected representatives, the population, companies, social services etc.
Everyone will have a “clearer” view of what they are experiencing and, if they so wish, will be able to react and act. Of course, there will be bosses, workers, managers and sweepers… whatever the egalitarians and other hardcore collectivists think… “Everyone must have the fairest benefit from their commitment and the energy they have spent to progress. But first, we must change this monstrous unbalancing system that dominates today.
All lazy! (The civil service).
Who hasn’t heard these stupid words about civil servants? Stupid, because all these people work as much as in the private sector. The problem is rather that the work done is not very profitable because it is too often badly organised. When the state is rolling in money, the economy is booming, all salaries “state and private” combined are very high. The taxes collected… in spite of the enormous illegal deductions that the big companies grant themselves or negotiate and the small, not too legal deductions of the SMEs, “small” advantages of liberal democracy at the expense of the “civil servants and private” employees… are gigantic, the State has multiplied, the chiefs have multiplied, the desires of these chiefs have multiplied, nothing was too necessary, too indispensable, too luxurious. Each sector receives its manna and, above all, from one year to the next must never decrease its allocation. Spend, but never spend less. There is no need to think about it, mistakes are written off, holes opened today, filled tomorrow, re-opened the day after tomorrow and filled again the day after tomorrow, are drawn from this infinite manna… and when the situation is critical, the high officials of the State moan about the disaster of the budget, seeking their salvation only in new charges, taxes, levies… and in selling off the profitable public sector
We need to reorganise the state system, and reorganisation can only be achieved through consultation within and between each sector of the state, and above all by taking into account the suggestions of all civil servants, especially those at the grassroots level who are in constant interactive contact with the population and have knowledge of individual problems.
The head of the decision-making state needs to break out of his omnipotent behaviour and encourage every civil servant to participate in the solutions, instead of putting them down and making everyone mumble in his corner without being heard by anyone.
The intransigent, soviet-style state is over, now every official has to sort out every case in the cheapest way possible for the taxpayer, and it is you officials, employees and leaders, who have to reorganise the system. If you try to get away with it individually, or by favouring your sector, you will start a war and all will end up losing.
Only by working together and reorganising with the new economic – local – regional – international realities will you be able to move forward in the right direction, individually for you and your family and as a true service to the people.
To see or not to see (hypocritical democrats).
It is funny to see how some good citizens take offence and criticise the criticism made against – the country – the institutions – the financial and industrial high power – If these powers do disgusting things what is offensive and disgusting is to say nothing or pretend not to see anything.
Take Switzerland and its financial institutions for example. Any little pickle that enters a bank has to show a white coat…but for the “white” money it is with closed eyes and a big smile, 150 million here, 150 million there, and the money of the dictators where is it? Hello, it’s here…too. Who is disgusting? What’s the point of their stupid fixation on the fatherland, on a country, on false images… tarnished. Burying one’s head in the sand, closing one’s eyes will not prevent the country’s image from being tarnished. This degradation is not done by the people who denounce these monstrosities, but precisely by those “good citizens” who prefer not to see anything. By abolishing bank secrecy and other shell companies, all over the world, we would be doing something highly democratic.
Pseudocrats (criticism, offered by the power!).
The “pseudocrats” who foolishly insinuate that democracy has been offered by power, cannot accept criticism of Western society, arguing that: we should be happy to be able to criticise it without being arrested and put in jail, or outright liquidated as in many parts of the world. This is laughable, because it is our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents who fought against governments and high officials, against armies, against justice and who have, step by step, allowed us to react today in not too bad conditions. But the powers that be have never given the slightest bit of freedom and democracy, everything has been wrested from them by the struggle.
The paradoxical globalisation (the hypocritical liberal politicians).
The vast majority of liberal governments talk about globalisation, the benefits of globalisation, etc… paradoxically, they constantly repeat that their country must be the first, the best… curious globalisation!
Dream of tranquillity (youth revolt).
The young person closed in on himself! Another beautiful image of the official discourse which dreams of eternal tranquillity. Events, difficulties and injustices fortunately create among young people the same revolts and search for justice as in the past. Our memory is very short.
A small change (the social struggle).
All causes, however insignificant they may seem to some, are just.
Each struggle has its importance, and it will be all the more important if it is part of the struggle of others, if it participates in the same global project by moving towards a better balance. Above all, if it participates in the change by allowing time for the change to take place. Before wanting to “change”, it is imperative to “propose” something else. By wanting everything and right away, dogmatically or by force, defeat will be certain with… violence as a bonus.
The colossal, the atomic and the sausage-eating.
“Whether we agree with a project or not, we must always know the reasons for it”. To follow, without opinions, in these times is a real danger. In case of disagreement we can react and act by proposing “something else”. Everyone can act according to their knowledge and experience and thus influence their immediate environment.
Each time an individual or group acts locally, it will provoke changes and reactions which will in turn allow things to change, in multiple places. A chain of processes can be set in motion, with no particular ‘personal’ links, but simply guided and activated by similarly perceived conditions in many regions and countries.
In Western countries, very few people or families perceive this process as it was ten years ago, but we all now have the vision of this advancing third worldisation, which is no longer restricted to the third world. Even a country like Switzerland, rich among the rich, is seeing the growth of a two-speed society.
In reality, it is not two speeds that go quietly “each to its own”, but gaps that are becoming unbearable, and quickly unsustainable.
Taking the example of the large multinational Shell, groups and individuals have reacted in a similar way, with a single goal – “enough with the pollution” -. The colossal economic power, the government at its beck and call, did nothing to stop it. “This common will for a common project decided by separate groups and individuals imposed democratic justice. The most ridiculous thing is that in the end, not the ocean on which the offence should have been based, this problem was not a problem, since this promised and denied pollution seemed almost non-existent. In conclusion, the opacity in which all these large groups indulge has reached unbearable limits, the suspicion and mistrust of them is such that we must demand transparency for their sake.
Everyone must act at their own level, not relying too much on politicians, who act mainly according to the interests of economic power and their own power.
Let’s take any president of any nuclear country, “France”. He will never propose to reduce the purchase and sale of weapons, he will never fight for disarmament, but he will propose to finish “his” nuclear tests, to improve their quality, in order to protect himself and “his” nation!
A personal notion of “his” nation, made up of the big neo-colonialist, exploitative, destructive groups. Once his nation has gone through this, the world can only be destabilised and therefore dangerous. His nation itself creates the danger it claims to protect itself from! Like any self-respecting patriot, he will therefore help the nuclear lobby and the arms lobby. He will intelligently propose to end his nuclear tests. Yes, he is going to finish them by promising that afterwards he won’t do any more! That no one will do any more! But then if the others decide to start or finish theirs! They will say: we are doing ours quickly, then we promise you that they will be the last! And so on... For a bullshit it is a beautiful bullshit.
Moreover, it shows us how dangerous the world is! After having encouraged the production of weapons, the plundering and provoked the imbalance, he will see in the Russian extreme right, a source of atomic danger. On the other hand, he does not see the misery in his own country and the rise of his own extreme right. The latter will receive as a godsend this atomic force that he is pampering. He would do better to fight misery through transparency, to prevent the imbalance and opacity that nourish and favour the emergence of these dangerous forces.
Whether it is the economic power or the State, only transparency will allow the greatest number of individuals who wish to do so; appetite comes with eating; to democratically control the great powers, those who play with our future, those who have the possibility of triggering conflicts. They fool us with false alibis, a whole work of manipulation allowed by this anonymous democracy. They will have much more difficulty with transparency.
After the dictatorial president, we have the equally patriotic and people-loving industrial politicians. Some of them, representing big capital, are for a Europe of love and peace. Relocations, importing anything from anywhere, massacring their own internal trade which has become too expensive, too protectionist, breaking social achievements… they don’t think about it, no, only love is the motor of their sudden opening of borders, they are for the “open fatherland”. Some others, representing the same very big capital, are exactly the opposite, not that they don’t act like the first ones, but; each one has his job; they will have to control the internal populations put in difficulties by… who? Them and the previous lovers. You will see them with their followers, eating sausages with their fingers and cultivating the greatness of the fatherland; unbearable promiscuity with these populations that they hate, but that they must imperatively control.
On the one hand we will have the sausage-eating patriotic mass, their cows and their bells dancing to the tune of the manipulated, on the other the adepts of love between peoples dancing to the same tune of the manipulated… on an increasingly slippery track! As for the proud representatives, representing the lovers of the peoples and the populist representatives representing the sausage eaters, they will find themselves “between fierce adversaries”, in the “same boards of directors of the same big economic groups”! Who said naive? Of course, they don’t necessarily sleep in the same bed, but they know very well what they are doing, without having to plot everything in secret company-style boards. It’s a system that unfolds “naturally” for their protection and their sole benefit. Until the day, perhaps not so far away, when it will no longer work and…
The ecological strike (a different strike)
The multi-millionaire liberals are asking us to innovate! Let’s propose to them to move the strikes. Instead of blocking trains, subways, crowded streets, etc… let’s demonstrate in their places of rest and leisure.
Let’s organize nice demonstrations… around their sumptuous properties, a picnic at the golf course for example, so there’s no need to bother poor citizens who are already in trouble… As they are also in favour of night work, we will take advantage of this to demonstrate… at night, the concerts of pans will certainly be appreciated.
On the street, in the metro, let’s distribute leaflets informing the population that a demonstration is taking place around the property of such and such a CEO, big shareholder, etc... Instead of receiving shouting and reproaches from poor citizens, the strikers or demonstrators will receive support and congratulations.
Even if “the deranged” moves temporarily, to one of his other residences, his multimillionaire neighbours will not appreciate it too much. It is as much a matter of creating zizanie among the multi-millionaires, as among the poor population… let’s get creative mister.
Inform (education).
Parties, associations, should only serve as catalysts, as Greenpeace did in the famous and smoky Shell affair. The real power must lie in responsible people, who have an individualistic and independent thinking conscience. We need to stop being soft, a “rabble” of “it’s too complicated”.
Our current sad mentality will only be changed if a large number of people; mainly teachers; who have wide contact with young people; interfere with the current stultifying commercialist asocial rhetoric. We need to inform the youth about the reality we live in, motivate them against such injustices, opacity, economic, political anonymity, by not putting them in the dirty hands of the military-slave system, by showing them the mechanisms of democratic powers. We must put an end to this teaching that favours only small personal and immediate interests.
The most creative and enterprising individuals are only interested in themselves, their only dream is to penetrate the system, to join, see and surpass the fattest. The horizon is only power and money. Does an entrepreneur, a creator, have to be just that?
Is he or she obliged to become a selfish moron? As a teacher, you have to shake up this ridiculous mentality and help create a more balanced society.
Take back the word (teaching).
Schools are certainly the real force that can counter the manipulation of economic and political
power. Every teacher; for “those who would not do it yet”; must take responsibility, for “him”, his family, his and our future. He must propose “his” teaching in “his” class, in “his” school, in “his” region, in “his” country of “his” planet. He must prepare the future generations to “know” what they want, to make sure that they are able to accept or refuse.
-Everyone must be able to know why he or she agrees, or why he or she does not, if he or she does not, to be able to propose something else. –
Schools and education must train creative and responsible men and women. Current education is still too elitist and mechanical, even mind-numbing. If teachers communicate like sheep, if parents communicate like sheep, what can become of…the children?
Teachers must refuse to be cast in the same mould, on the contrary, they must, according to their experiences, their vision of the world, their convictions and their conscience, take the floor. Young people will thus receive “multiple and antagonistic” information, which will force them to react, to confront ideas, to make decisions on different opinions, to become “thinking beings”. The society of asocial individualists considers itself a free society, whereas it is only a mass that is tossed about at the whim of the great economic power. Let everyone say what they have to say, let teachers interfere with educational dogma; even if some parents will “pout”; and instead of creating asocial individualists, we will have a chance to have the emergence of thoughtful, social individualists. One…two…three…four… 7 billion! Yes, there are 7 billion of us! Maybe it’s time to think about becoming social…don’t you think.
The macho (women).
The power of the ‘macho’ man in many societies and religions is mainly outside the family. Often women have their own power inside the family, which keeps a balance. Unfortunately this balance is governed by laws that are totally favourable to men, and is based on force, it is an internal dictatorship. It is a form of soft prison, left to the goodwill of a “master”. As long as the woman accepts her situation, by tradition, custom or religion, there is nothing to say, on the contrary, some women, generally cloistered in illiteracy and ignorance, approve and ask for more. The others, who refuse this semi-slavery, are forced to do so by the external macho pressure prevailing in too many regions. The woman, despite the rumour and boorishness that propagate depreciatory ideas against her, has a greater capacity for discovery, seeks to learn without prejudice and coercion, and has a courage far superior to any male “hero”. She is the opposite of the rigidity in which the man locks himself, who has great difficulty in seeing anything other than his own navel. In two words, she is “more intelligent”.
The problem, for the so-called human species, is that man’s stupid strength was able to dominate and confine woman’s intelligence for too long. He ended up creating a backward, brutal society in his image, and for too long deprived the world of “its main source of progress”. The current democratic political system is a macabre farce in the service of the “big families”, it shows no sign of humanity and is even more appalling and hypocritical than other monstrous systems we have known in recent times. In principle it would be within the power of any normally constituted fool to see this and try to remedy it, hence one undeniable quality we must grant to democracies is that they turn normal and often highly educated individuals into more than fools.
